Vicious Dogs Threatening View Park

View Park is experiencing a rise in the number of attacks by aggressive dogs. In fact, last week, a resident and her dog were attacked by an unleashed dog that escaped from its backyard. While the resident did not suffer any injuries, her dog was saved by the grace of God and a vet who charged $6,000.

To date, calls to the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Control and Care (DACC) have not produced the level of responsiveness we deserve to prevent future attacks and resolve previous attacks.

Gil Moreno, Manager with the County of Los AngelesDepartment of Animal Care and Control (DACC), will be available to meet with residents to discuss the issues with vicious and unsocialize dogs in View Park this Friday, July 19th at 6:30 PM PDT.

NOTE: Please provide specific addresses of residences with problem dogs — either prior to the meeting or bring to the meeting — so DACC can address the issues directly.
