CRIME ALERT

Date: 02 October 2013
Time: approx.18:30 to 18:52

Threat: Criminal Trespassing with potential intent to commit burglary

On Wednesday, October 2nd, a resident on the 3600 block of Olympiad Drive (between Monteith Park and Angeles Vista) encountered a red-hooded male trying to hop the fence from her neighbor’s yard, then proceeded to walk along the concrete fence in between the properties to the street.

Security cameras from neighboring residents and caught these boys fleeing at 6:51:28 PM. Additionally, security camera footage caught what appeared to be three individuals casing houses, about 20 minutes prior, pretending to be on the cell phone before executing their plans.

They have also been seen hanging out at Monteith Park.
If you know any of these individuals or encounter/see them, please contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department – Marina del Rey station. Also, please give ViewPark.org the heads-up.

We, all residents of View Park-Windsor Hills, need to “own” our neighborhood andpick up the phone to report suspicious activity.

NOTE: If you have security cameras that can support law enforcement, please send a note to law@viewpark.org and become part of the solution. We’ll compile a list of resources for the Sheriff. Your information will only be shared with the law enforcement community.
